Who Are We?
IV Rescue are managed by a trained, licensed and certified medical professionals and all of our servicing staff are designated “CNA - Certified Nursing Staff”.

How Old Do I Have To Be?
You must be 21 or older to be qualify for IV Rescue administered IV solutions.

Will an IV Relieve My Hangover?
Yes, IV solutions such as the ones IV Rescue administer will help alleviate the symptoms caused by the “hangover”. The most common characteristics of a handover include headache, nausea, sensitivity of light and noise, lethargy, dysphoria, diarrhea and thirst. These characteristics are caused by hypoglycemia, dehydration, acetaldehyde intoxication and vitamin B12 deficiency are all theorized causes of hangover symptoms. Please note that rest and simple consumption of foods and water is all recommended.

How's it Work?
Our trained staff will visit you at either your residence or hotel room equipped with an IV bag and an IV line that consists of a short catheter (a few centimeters long) which is then inserted through the skin into a peripheral vein most commonly in the arm. Then will apply the intravenous drip to correct the dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.

How Long Does it Take?
A typically healthy patient can take in a 500ml intravenous drip between 45 min – 60 minutes. The results are immediate, whereas the traditional consumption of water can take up to 24 hours to rehydrate the body.

What's in the IV Bag?
IV bags can contain a number of fluids, the most commonly used by IV Rescue is saline, a solution of sodium chloride, dextrose and water sometimes referred to as D5W. This is often used if the patient is at risk for having low blood sugar or high sodium. Additional solutions such as sodium, potassium, magnesium and other electrolytes require additional blood tests before IV Rescue can administer.

What are the Risks?
IV Rescue practices and follows all recommended procedures to prevent any risks. However any break in the skin carries the risk of infection, infection is usually local, causing easily visible swelling and redness. Other risks such as Phlebitis is not caused by infection, but from the mere presence of a foreign body (IV Catheter) or the fluids being given. Symptoms are warmth, swelling and redness around the vein. IV Rescue recommends speaking with your doctor or the attending nurse if you have any concerns.

What Are Your Payment Options?
Visa, MasterCard and American Express are the only methods being accepted, all clients will be billed in advance prior to appointment. A $65 cancellation fee will be applied for all no shows and or canceled appointments. Expect 5-7 days for a return of appropriate funds.
